Stanford Pre-Collegiate Studies advances the education of academically talented, intellectually curious, pre-college students. Our diverse academic programs fit a wide variety of student needs. Whether you're a rising freshman or a rising senior, interested in Aristotle or Astrochemistry, we have a program for you.

Our Programs At A Glance

Our participants are adventurous, highly motivated, and passionate in their desire to come together and deepen their learning. While exploring new subjects and making friendships to last a lifetime, they will gain new insights into themselves and what really motivates them.

Investigate advanced topics in small, discussion-based classes with instructors who are scholars in their fields and passionate about teaching. Choose from nearly 30 online courses in computer science, philosophy, business, engineering, and more.

Stanford Summer Humanities Institute

Explore the big questions at the heart of the humanities and tap into Stanford University's excellence in the humanities and social sciences. Course instruction is delivered through on-demand video lectures from a Stanford professor and daily online class meetings led by graduate student teaching assistants.
