Our Organization At A Glance

Since our founding, we have hosted thousands of students in our online, commuter, and summer residential programs. Our impact is global and life-long and it is all due to the strength of our staff and Stanford University's commitment to excellence.
Founded 2012
Stanford Pre-Collegiate Studies was inaugurated by the Provost in 2012 under the banner of Stanford Continuing Studies, serving as a home for Stanford’s pre-collegiate efforts.
Enhancing Pre-Collegiate Education
Stanford Continuing Studies demonstrates Stanford’s recognition that education need not end with college graduation. Stanford Pre-Collegiate Studies shows that it need not wait until matriculation.
Mission-Driven Programming
We are a mission-driven organization, committed to inspiring pre-collegiate students from across the U.S. and around the world, introducing them to new fields and setting them up for excellence.
Diverse Staff
Our staff comes from a wide variety of academic backgrounds and life experiences, allowing us to create world-renowned programs for a global audience.

Mission Statement

The Stanford Pre-Collegiate Studies staff collaborate year-round on how to design and plan for our outstanding summer programs and academic year enrichment opportunities for students of all ages.

Our staff is responsible for hiring instructors, planning the logistics for all campus programs, and implementing countless other tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our programs.
