Stanford Science Circle

Engage your love for science on Stanford’s campus during the school year.

Stanford Science Circle offer weekly classes throughout the quarter for Bay Area middle and high school students who are interested in exploring the vast and exciting world of science. Weekly sessions are held at Stanford. The classes promote science interest through engaging lectures and hands-on activities. Participants learn directly from faculty, researchers, and graduate students from the Stanford community.

What is an enrichment "Circle"?

Circles are weekly gatherings that follow a model of education that emphasizes discussion and group problem solving. Our enrichment circles are evening after-school programs that are meant to supplement students' schoolwork and help students develop the creative and critical problem solving that drives developments in a given field. Because they are held on campus and involve a great deal of group interaction, they are only offered to local students.
